An applicant has to file for the trademark registration in each individual country to protect in those countries. However, the Madrid system allows the registration of a trademark in many countries. Particularly, around the world that is part of Madrid Union member countries by filing a single application. The Madrid system is a simple and inexpensive approach for the worldwide registration and administration of trademarks. The process of filing under the Madrid system has become more systematic and straightforward with the Madrid Application Assistant [MAA].

The Madrid Application Assistant is an online platform available for the users to file an international application. The user can file for international registration of the marks through the MM2 form under the Madrid system.

The Madrid Application Assistant is a simple and easy tool. This can be used to guide users step by step, and also allows them to efficiently and reliably to complete the international application form systematically. This Assistant [MAA] enables the users to access and import the information related to the mark.
